Rulon combines a low coefficient of friction with high temperature stability. It also offers outstanding abrasion resistance, which equates to a 500-fold increase in wear resistance over PTFE in rotating bearing tests. The Rulon backing is chemically inert and offers excellent high temperature resistance. This tape construction is stable, non-toxic and weather resistant. The film surface is self-lubricating and the backing is conformable.
